Lisa Goddard McGuirk

Lisa Goddard McGuirk has over two decades of combined experience as an administrator and coach at the NCAA Division I, II, & III levels. As an administrator, her stops have included College of Saint Elizabeth (NJ), Cedar Crest College (PA), and Gannon University (PA). As a coach her stops included, the University of Massachusetts Boston (MA), Centenary College of Louisiana (LA), College of Saint Elizabeth (NJ), and Cedar Crest College (PA). Goddard McGuirk has been actively involved with various committees and has presented with various professional organizations at the local, regional, and national levels.
Prior to her arrival at Gannon, during her athletic administrative career, she has successfully increased recruitment and sport sponsorship, facility upgrades, and developed and implemented policies and procedures. A major area of focus throughout her tenure has been on alumni relations and development initiatives. Goddard McGuirk prides herself on providing a transformative student-athlete experience with a commitment to excellence in and out of competition. She is active in research on leadership.
Goddard McGuirk’s involvement with athletics stretches past the intercollegiate realm. She has worked at Northeastern University’s Center for the Study of Sport in Society, involved with programming initiatives utilizing the power of sports to make a positive impact on the greater Boston community. In addition, she was involved with Softball Ireland, serving on the National Coaching Committee to assist in developing and elevating the game of softball.
Goddard McGuirk received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Brandeis University, and her master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Organizational Leadership and Learning at Gannon University.
