Roger Ingles

CEO, Senior Partner

Ingles’ baseball team was the second-winningest Division III baseball program in the nation from 1990-2005 . He is a highly sought national baseball clinician who has held skills clinics for elementary, middle and high school students. His coaching experience at OWU was not limited to baseball. He also helped lead both football and women’s basketball teams to their first NCAC titles as an assistant coach.

 

Ingles brought professional lacrosse to Delaware, Ohio where the Ohio Machine played at Ohio Wesleyan for several years. The TBT Basketball Tournament came to Capital University during his tenure. These two programs increased visibility through national television coverage and helped raise additional revenue for the athletic programs.

 

Ingles served as Commissioner of the highly prestigious Great Lakes Summer College, an organization sponsored by both the NCAA and Major League Baseball. He expanded the league from six teams to twelve, one state to four and developed it into one of the finest wooden bat leagues in the nation. His innovations to scheduling, fund raising, marketing, promotion and expansion led to many conferences copying his highly successful model. He was elected VP of Summer Baseball Conferences.

 

Ingles was chair of the NCAC Athletic Directors for seven consecutive years. He also chaired numerous league committees including professional development, retention, enrollment, branding, master planning and diversity and inclusion

 

Ingles created the Branch Rickey Multi-cultural coaching program for the NCAC. The program was instrumental in helping the NCAC to win the NCAA’s first award for Diversity and Inclusion. In addition, Ingles was named Sports Ethics Fellow by the Institute for International Sports.

 

Roger has a B.S. in Social Studies from The Ohio State University and a M.A. in Athletic Administration from The Ohio State University.  He resides in Powell, Ohio with his wife Jo, a reporter and producer for the Ohio Public Radio and TV  Statehouse News Bureau. He has two children, Sarah and Brad.
